SIDS is working with total commitment and missionary zeal in the promotion of Dental education in all aspects including undergraduate and postgraduate studies. Proper guidance and counseling are given to dental students to give an opportunity to serve the society at large and rural population in particular by participating in Dental Health Camps to educate the people about prevention and early detection and treatment of dental diseases with the guidance from community dentistry department of our college.

FREE Dental Camps: Under Community Dentistry, Sibar Dental College has plans to cover all the villages in Guntur District and to have free Dental Checkup and Treatment in the camps with distribution of Medicines free of cost. Free dental scaling, simple dental extractions and filling are done at the camps. Till date SIDS has conducted 161 such Rural Dental Camps covering over 100 villages and examining over 21,000 patients. For complicated cases and sophisticated treatment patients are advised to come to Sibar Dental College which is equipped clinics covering all the nine super specialty departments.

HIV & AIDS awareness Prevention Education Camps: In each camps, the public are educated about the disease prevention like Hypertension, Diabetes, Heart Diseases, Obesity, Cancer, Anaemia and Dental Problems. People are advised to refrain from tobacco smoking. Importance of early detection and treatments are also stressed. Pamphlets about prevention and early detection of dental diseases are distributed in these camps. Myths and wrong notions about the diseases are also explained.

Free Dental 'School' Camps: SIDS conducts FREE Dental School camps where every child gets dental checkup and advised accordingly. So far 51 school camps are conducted and almost 85% of the school children needed treatment. As mentioned in its Mission Statement, SIDS educates the school children and helps in preventing future dental problems thus improving oral health and thereby the overall quality of life of the future citizens of the Nation.

Free Dental Industrial Workers Camps: As there are many industries in and around Guntur, SIDS conducted FREE Dental Health Camps at several of these industries. Thousands of workers with their families are being benefited.
