Total number of seats available in SIDS for B.D.S are 100. These 100 seats are divided into three categories:

Category A (Competent Authority Seats): 50 seats will be filled under this category. These seats are filled by Convenor, EAMCET based on EAMCET rank.
Category B (Management Seats): 20 seats will be filled under this category. These seats are filled by Convenor, EAMCET based on EAMCET rank. Annual fee charged for this category will be higher than category A.

Eligibility Criteria for B.D.S Course:
1. The candidate should complete the age of 17 years on or before December 31st of the year of admission to the B.D.S course.
2. The candidate should pass the qualifying examination as under:

• The Intermediate examination in Science of an Indian University/Board of other recognised examining body with Physics, Chemistry and Biology which should include a practical test in these subjects and also English as a compulsory subject.
• Any other equivalent examination of Indian or Foreign University

50% of the seats will be filled by university authorities based on rank in the qualifying entrance examination and the remaining will be filled by the management.

Eligibility Criteria for M.D.S Course:
The applicant for admission to the Postgraduate degree in Dental Surgery MUST have a B.D.S degree of a University established or incorporated by/or under a Central Act or a State Act or an equivalent qualification recognised by the Dental Council of India and MUST have permanent registration with any State Dental Council.
